This page explains how VectisERP uses cookies, browser storage and similar technologies on its website, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to change your mind. Cookies are small text files a site saves in your browser. Local storage and session storage do a similar job and stay on your device.
Google Analytics, Ahrefs Web Analytics and Google advertising measurement stay off until you allow the relevant category. Strictly necessary storage remains on. Vercel's cookieless traffic and performance measurement runs separately, as described below.
These keep the site and the browser demo working and remember your cookie choice. The law does not require your consent for storage that is strictly necessary, so there is no switch to turn these off. They do not track you across other sites.
| Name | Provider | What it does | How long it lasts | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| vectiserp:marketing-language | VectisERP | Remembers your selected marketing page language. Without a saved choice, the site matches your browser's preferred languages. This preference does not track you. | Until you close the browser tab | Session storage |
| vectiserp:consent | VectisERP | Remembers the choices you make in the cookie banner, with the date you made them. | Up to 12 months, then we ask again | Local storage |
| scan-ledger-*, vectiserp-* and vectiserp:scanner-* | VectisERP | Keeps the browser demo working: your sample workspace, settings, sign-in state in the demo and scanner pairing. This stays on your device and is not sent to our servers on page loads. | Until you clear site data. Session entries end when you close the tab | Local storage and session storage |
With your consent we use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to understand how the marketing site is used: which pages are visited, how people find us, and general device and location information. Google receives your IP address and the data these cookies collect. We use the result to improve the site and the guides.
The same Analytics choice controls Ahrefs Web Analytics on our public marketing pages. It measures page visits, referrals and interactions such as link clicks and form submissions. We exclude workspace, sign-in, scanner and unsubscribe pages. Public page views omit query strings and fragments. Ahrefs documents its service as cookie-free, with no raw IP addresses stored and no visitor tracking across days. See Ahrefs' data collection explanation.
| Name | Provider | What it does | How long it lasts | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Tells returning visitors apart so Google Analytics can count visits. | 2 years | Cookie | |
| _ga_EDHR62DVDX | Keeps session state for Google Analytics. | 2 years | Cookie |
With your consent, Google may measure whether ads led to a visit and may use that data for ad personalization and measurement. We do not sell your personal information. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we keep this category off.
| Name | Provider | What it does | How long it lasts | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Lets Google measure whether an ad led to a visit. | 90 days | Cookie | |
| Other Google advertising cookies | While advertising measurement is on, Google may also set cookies from its own domains, such as google.com and doubleclick.net, to measure ads. | Set by Google, up to about 13 months | Cookie |
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights run on our hosting platform to measure traffic and page speed. According to Vercel's documentation they do not use cookies and do not track you across sites. These measurements run separately from the Google and Ahrefs consent controls above.
vectiserp:consent. It lasts up to 12 months, then we ask again. If you used an earlier version of the banner, the old key vectiserp:analytics-consent is read once and replaced. When you allow analytics or advertising measurement, Google processes the data under its own policies and may process it in countries outside your own, including the United States. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can also install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you clear site data, your cookie choice is forgotten, so the banner returns, and any demo data stored only in your browser is permanently deleted.
Our legal basis for analytics and advertising measurement is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time without affecting what happened before. For the rights you have over your personal information, and how to use them, see our Privacy Policy. Questions about cookies can go to privacy@vectiserp.com.
If we add, remove or change a cookie or a provider, we will update this page and the date above, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent again.
